Rahim Toufan finishes filming his new movie

Iranian director Rahim Toufan has finished shooting his first cinematic experience titled ‘1kg and 21g’ in February.

The shooting of ‘1kg and 21g’ lasted for about five months and took place in different locations in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.

According to the director, ‌Roshanak Gerami recently joined the cast of ‘1kg and 21g’. Leyla Zareh, Saeed Aghakhani, Fereshteh Sadre-Orafaee and Anahita Afshar are among other cast members of the film.

Toufan’s film is a social drama that analyzes and narrates stories of different layers in Iran culture.
